This mug, a Christmas gift last year from one of my sisters-in-law, says “the peace of mind” in French, according to Google Translate. I will have to take Google’s word for it, as I haven’t studied the French language. (I always took Spanish classes in school.)

I didn’t care much for On the Road when I had to read it for an American Literature course I took in college, perhaps because I had to read it in such a short amount of time. Now that I am re-reading it leisurely, I am enjoying it much more than the first go-round.
